“Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future.”
Scope for change is a non profit organization which works for the wellbeing of the society; it mainly focuses on different problematic spheres which are being ignored by us. It also conducts drives, events for the welfare of the community and encourages people to be a part of their movement. Nowadays, when we all are going through pandemic time there’s one more area that needs our attention: the environment. Yes, it’s equally important as any other social cause.
Keeping this thought in mind, a Plantation Drive was conducted by Scope for Change at Subhash Nagar Chowk park in the presence of our respectable Councillor S. Gurmukh Singh (of Tilak Nagar Ward 13 S.). The activities taken up during the drive were:
- Planting Trees – 50 Saplings
- Repairing the Water Connection
- Donation of a new water pipe for smooth supply of water for plants.
This drive was conducted in association with the Young Indians Delhi Chapter and SDMC. MLA S. Jarnail Singh would have been there at the event as well but due to extended meetings he could not be there.
We extend our Heartiest Gratitude to MLA S. Jarnail Singh, S. Gurmukh Singh, SDMC, Young Indians Chapter, our Staff and all the members who contributed and supported this Noble Cause. The people from all age groups participated including the children and elders. This is the spirit that all of us need to have – understanding our duties and doing our best.

Also recently Union minister of environment Prakash Javadekar urged people to plant as much as trees near their neighbourhoods, as increasing tree cover aids in reducing population. Thus Scope for Change also took initiative and we hope that our efforts inspire you and looking forward to more support and contributions in the future for the Noble Cause. We are already taking enough resources from our Mother Nature, so it’s time to give it back, do something for our environment, take care of Mother Nature!!
