With the increasing screen time among children, caring for our eyes has never been more critical. This made the recent session by @venky_yoda at @scopeforchange for Change truly impactful and timely. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Archana and Dr Abhishek Sharma, Director of 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for their invaluable guidance on eye health.

Smayan from @venky_yoda led an engaging discussion, unraveling the intricate structure of the eye and explaining the roles of the cornea, lens, retina, and optic nerve. The session shed light on common eye concerns such as myopia, digital eye strain, cataracts, and glaucoma, which are increasingly prevalent in today’s digital-driven lifestyle.

Students and attendees not only gained insights into these issues but also learned practical tips to safeguard their vision, from reducing screen time to adopting healthy eye habits. The knowledge shared was both empowering and essential, making it a truly transformative experience for all.

🌟 Celebrating Children's Day with a Purpose 🌟

This Children’s Day at @scopeforchange we wanted to create a space where our students could truly appreciate the dedication and love their teachers pour into their education. 💙

We organized a special movie screening focusing on the teacher-student bond, highlighting the immense effort teachers invest to shape young minds and build strong foundations for their futures. 🎬🍿

To spark creativity, we hosted a drawing activity where students could express their ideas freely, enhancing their creative thinking and self-confidence. 🎨🖌️ Through art, they explored their dreams and reflected on the impact of their mentors, building a deeper understanding of the journey to knowledge.

We ended the day with a sweet surprise, distributing chocolates and biscuits to over 100 kids, filling the day with laughter, joy, and gratitude. 🍫

Reflecting on my journey with Scope For Change over the past few years, I've come to appreciate how deeply humanitarian work can foster genuine friendships. When we started, we had little idea about which projects to pursue, beginning only with a book donation drive we called "Gyaan Ganga." Our vision was to establish a Learning Center to teach children #academic skills and life skills necessary for their growth. However, as a new organization, we faced a significant challenge: we lacked the #funds and #resources to make this vision a reality.

In this time of need, we connected with Jan Drbohlav, who personally funded our work when we weren’t yet eligible for #CSR support. Thanks to his support, we launched our first #Learning Center in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. Since then, we've expanded to three centers, where we provide daily education to 250 children. As the organization grew, we also received CSR funding from the Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions India and later support from Preferred Square for our Gurugram center.

Jan’s help went beyond financial support; he became a true #friend, someone deeply committed to our cause and to our #personal lives. Today, our bond is more than #professional — we’re friends, riding partners, and family. Recently, I visited the Czech Republic with my #family, creating memories that remind me how #humanitarian values can lead to lasting friendships.

🌟 We’re incredibly grateful to our CSR partner, @preferred_square_analytics , for organizing a fantastic day of activities for the students of our Gurugram Learning Center on 27th September! 🎉 The day was filled with excitement as both the students and employees participated in a range of indoor and outdoor games, including cricket, sack race, badminton, tug of war, and basketball. 🏏🏸🤾‍♂️ It was amazing to see the energy and enthusiasm as teams competed, with the winners taking home fun gift packs. 🎁 Beyond the competitive spirit, it was a beautiful day of bonding, teamwork, and lots of laughter. 😊

To top it off, all the students were treated to refreshments, making sure everyone stayed energized throughout the event. 🍴 We’re so thankful for Preferred Square’s commitment to employee engagement and their continuous support of our initiatives. 💙 The smiles on the children’s faces said it all – it was truly a day to remember!
