Someone has rightly said, ‘A compassionate person offers a piece of their food to a poor person before they eat, not after they have eaten.’ We at Scope For Change works with the same fundamentals. We proudly present that SFC continuously strives to feed hungry people and serve smiles. Taking care of the prevailing situation, we are again back with the Food Donation Drive. This was conducted on 25th Sep 2021 at Deen Dayal Upadhaya Hospital, gate no 3. in Delhi.
SFC tried to discover new methods to stay connected to elevating society. We at Scope for Change, always striving to achieve excellence in our work. We are ecstatic to announce that we have undertaken a Joint Drive on 17th September 2021 to help women and children to bring smiles to their faces and educate them for essential things in the future.
Shukar Singh is a Senior Citizen of Tilak Nagar New Delhi has never thought in his youthful days that he has to spent his old days abandoned in a shop. It was his time to spent these days in comfort, but at the age of 80, he is living under a leaking roof, barely having food to eat, and in unhygienic conditions.
For more than two months, SFC is helping him with basic needs like providing him dry ration, water, milk, and fruits. He has needs like renovating the shop, building a washroom, drinking water facility, and utensils.
It is a privilege to share that Scope For Change Founders Mr. Perminder Singh Malik & Mr. Rakesh Kumar Rana visited Plasticvalla’s office. As a gratitude, he gifted us one of his best creations to the SFC Team.
Mr. Manveer Singh, aka Plasticvalla, is a Delhi-based artist. He has devoted his artistic skills to spread awareness about protecting nature. By qualification, master’s in the arts; By profession, an art teacher and by passion, an artist.
Scope for Change conducted a drive to make the general public aware and offered sanitizer & face masks. SFC conducted five days drive to give the safety essentials (masks and sanitizers) in West Delhi locality to fight with covid-19. Our goal was to donate 200 sanitizers and 200 masks( both surgical & N95) to all people in need in the slum regions. While distribution, we gave preference to those who were in contact with the general public daily.
The main reason that books in our lives are valuable is that they serve as our best companions. The most crucial element of our lives is friends. Without a close friend’s fellowship, we can’t fathom our lives.
We donated 250 books to Lakshya For Development. Lakshya For Development aims to improve the underprivileged children of society via comprehensive training, which makes them employable in society.
Serving food to the people in need is in the tradition of Indian culture. Providing food to the hungry is considered the kindest act. Scope for change has been organizing food drives consistently to eliminate hunger.
On 13th August 2021, we have organized a food drive in which we served 300 people. This time it was our favourite meal, Rajma Chawal.
