The problem of the use of masks and sanitizers, often arising these days.
One typical feeling is, “Why should I use a mask or sanitizer when I’m not personally at high risk for COVID-19?
It is the reason that many individuals do not cover their noses and mouths in public areas. The Government has suggested wearing masks in public environments when other social distancing measures (like food shops and drugstores) are strenuous to maintain, particularly in regions with substantial communal transmission.
Wearing a face mask is only the way to lessen the risk of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. It will be crucial to restrict the spread of COVID-19 when we return to our regular activities when it comes to social distance and the usage of hand-washer or sanitizers.
Challenge
COVID-19 – worldwide spread. In India, we intend to protect school children and public persons. Our goal is to cover every individual in the unprivileged community that needs these necessities.

Solution
Scope For Change conducted a drive to make the general public aware and offered sanitizer & face masks. SFC conducted five days drive to give the safety essentials (masks and sanitizers) in West Delhi locality to fight with covid-19. Our goal was to donate 200 sanitizers and 200 masks( both surgical & N95) to all people in need in the slum regions. While distribution, we gave preference to those who were in contact with the general public daily.
The target audience were vegetable sellers, rickshaw pullers, ragpickers, maids, homeless people on the roadside, and daily laborer. The area covered in this drive was Kesho Puri, Khyala, Raghubir Nagar, Tilak Nagar metro station, and Uttam Nagar metro station.
This project was led by our Founder Mr. Perminder Singh Malik, considering the hour of the need. He conducted two days drive as an individual and followed by the other team member of the support volunteer team.
